Analysis and Improvement on the Structure of Labyrinth Oil Separator
Main Article Content
Abstract
Based on the CFD analysis on original structure of the labyrinth oil separator, it was discovered that it has low separation efficiency and thus need to be improved. Improvement was made by adding a cyclone oil separator to the original structure which helps to create a second-stage function. The improved structure was verified using CFD analysis. Based on the efficiency of the improved and old oil separator under different working mode, it was discovered that the separator with improved structure has doubled its efficiency.
