Fabrication and Testing of Hybrid Fibre Plates for Bullet Proof: Technical Note
Main Article Content
Abstract
In recent days, composite materials became most popular in various fields of application owing to their high strength to weight ratio. The hybrid fibre plates consisting the layers of carbon fibre and glass fibre of three weight fractions are fabricated. These plates are tested for bullet proof in relation to TYPE I body armour vest requirements. By this, the weight of armour is reduced and the strength is increased.
