Abstract

In this research, an experiment investigation on the Alum utilization in diesel was discovered to be one method for reducing diesel emissions. We can minimize the carbon dioxide concentration and make diesel fuel more affordable by adding potassium alum. The addition of alum was carried by two types (crystal and Powder) for a week-long day and after removed the alum part and purified to use the fuel in the diesel engine without any engine modifications. The results of the primary research are used to determine the optimal mixture of all the Potassium alum-diesels investigated, accounting for each one's emission characteristics, brake thermal efficiency, brake specific fuel consumption, braking power under load, and oxygen consumption. However, it has been shown that diesel and potassium alum-diesel (DCPA 10) provide results that are equivalent.
