LabVIEW based Automotive Power Battery Test System Construction Research
Main Article Content
Abstract
With the use of batteries, there are safety and performance consistency issues with batteries. For accomplishing evaluation of the performance of the battery, carrying out systematic testing of single batteries or modules is needed. This research takes the automotive power battery as the research object, studies the performance of lithium-ion battery based on the working principle of lithium battery and then builds the system based on LabVIEW. The experimental results show that a larger constant current charging current brings difference that charging time becomes shorter. Under the same discharge multiplication rate and time, the voltage drop rate (VDR) of power pack and square body battery differed but the trend was similar. During the test time from 543s to 2385s, the VDR of both power pack and single cell is within 5%. It shows that in a certain SOC range, the performance index of the power battery pack can be evaluated by studying and analyzing the battery unit. The research results support the further development and application of power battery technology, which helps to ensure the quality and reliability of automotive power batteries and promote the new energy vehicle industry sustainability.
