Structural Dynamics of PEMFC Carrier Frame of Fuel Cell Vehicle

Abstract
A finite element analysis and study of the fuel cell stack carrier of a certain type of proton exchange membrane fuel cell vehicle currently in mass production was carried out. The cell carrier was equated to a model consisting of multiple nodes by three-dimensional modelling and cell discretisation. Firstly, pre-stress modal analysis was performed according to the usage conditions. Then the vertical acceleration spectrum is obtained based on the actual road driving test data of a small car and then the response spectrum is analysed. The transient dynamic analysis is carried out by loading with time-varying loads. The harmonic response analysis is carried out by loading with different phase loads in order to simulate the vehicle driving on bad roads. The results of the analyses are combined to evaluate the structural dynamics of the load-bearing frame.
