Special Issue on Structural Impact and Crashworthiness: Part II - Preface
Main Article Content
Abstract
This issue is the Part 2 of papers submitted to a call by International Journal of Vehicle Structures and Systems on Structural Impact and Crashworthiness. The division of the papers between the two parts was only due to the editorial and refereeing matters and there is no priority among the papers. As mentioned before the goal of these Special Issues is to provide a broad, but by no means comprehensive cross-section of some of the current research in the field of Structural Impact and Crashworthiness. Papers presented in this issue describe advances in research and application in the related area. They reflect enormous research effort of all the participants and substantial research funding commitments from various government bodies in different countries and the wider community.
