Design and Development of Electromagnetic Suspension for a Two-wheeler
Main Article Content
Abstract
Traditional hydraulic damper has limited response to different road conditions. This makes it difficult to use in places where roads are not developed. This research focuses on the design and development of a suspension system for two wheelers using electromagnet. This idea increases the response range of the damper of the suspension system. The suspension design is based on maximum load carrying capacity of 80 kg and maximum damper travel of 6 inches. Various technologies of electromagnetic suspension were analysed and simulated. Suspension model simulation and data interpretation were performed and the results are discussed.
