IoT based Smart Transportation System: Implementation and Security Challenges
Main Article Content
Abstract
With the increasing trend of digitalization, Internet of things (IoT) provide a way to make the system efficient and automated in every possible sector of daily human life. In this paper, the overview of IoT enabled application in the transportation sector is represented with some recent case studies. The recent work and challenges in the deployment of the IoT in the transportation application have also been demonstrated. Various cybersecurity such as secure data code, two factor authentication, end-to-end encryption and the use of anti-malware software to ensure the safe and secure operations of IoT devices are also explored.
