Abstract

This research comprises a thorough examination of the transesterification of discarded and non-edible Acacia seed oil (ABD) in order to fuel the diesel engine. The research also looks at the emission configurations of a four-stroke diesel examination engine. ABD (10% and 20% vol. respectively referred as ABD10 and ABD20) blended with diesel fuels were used to calculate the emission patterns under varying conditions. All ABD blends exhibited lower smoke opacity, HC and CO emissions than diesel, though a minor escalation in NOx emissions.
